Webinar Proposal

Lead yourself
into your future

wayfinding for creatives navigating the evolving paradigm
"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." -Albert Einstein
Artists, musicians, writers, designers, architects, people of the theater, are some of the most brilliant people on earth—certainly, some of the most inventive and resilient.
"We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." -Albert Einstein
"The creative economy is one of the sectors most at risk from the COVID-19 crisis. Arts, culture, and creativity are one of three key sectors (along with science and technology as well as business and management) that drive regional economies. Any lasting damage to the creative sector will drastically undercut our culture, well-being, and quality of life."

The Brookings Institute continues by stating

Americans for the Arts "76% of arts organizations (and 68% of artists) are using the arts to strengthen community cohesion, raise morale, and lighten the COVID-19 experience of the community."
The creative economy is actually the result of the soul, blood, sweat, and tears of individual human beings who have dedicated their lives to creative expression. Out of air, out of thin air.

Tone this following paragraph down so it's easier to parse.
Webinar to help creatives of all disciplines examine and alter their perception of roles in current socio-cultural paradigm, envision different perspectives and paths to new possibilities and potential leadership in rapidly changing and evolving society.

A one-hour, non-intellectual, solution-based approach to self-examination and self-evaluation designed to position individuals and organizations for radical change. Attendees will learn how to ground themselves, set up a practice of self-examination, re-evaluate their current model of operation in relation to their personal values and well-being, consider how their expressive practice might serve themselves and their community differently, and be presented with an opportunity to wonder about the placement of the creative artist (of all disciplines) in the current socioeconomic power structure. Participants will be presented after the FieldTrip with a set of suggestions for daily practice to help with grounding and better self-knowledge, and questions to help them better hone a new or somewhat altered way of self-expression and service.

It is a widely accepted anecdote that the two Chinese characters making up the word crisis are "danger" and "opportunity". In fact, the two characters are more accurately defined as "dangerous" and, rather, "change point".

We are well aware of the dangers. This webinar is designed to help creatives examine personal change points.
